Return to the Gate - Gary Jones

Gary Jones is a Welsh-born Canadian actor, who has worked on television and on stage in Britain and Canada. He is known for his recurring role as CMSgt. Walter Harriman in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. He has also made guest appearances on such shows as Sliders, Cold Squad, The Outer Limits, Andromeda and Dead Like Me.

Born on January 4th 1958 in Swansea, Wales, before Gary delved in to a career in acting, he used to work as an Art Director for a Gazette Newspaper in Burlington.

In 1986 with Second City he went to Vancouver for Expo 86, where they performed for six months at the Expo's Flying Club. After the Expo was finished, Jones stayed in Vancouver, and started his acting career with guest appearances in TV shows such as Wiseguy, Airwolf and Dangerbay. He was also a player of the Vancouver TheatreSports League, the improv group "Mission Improvable", which had a CBC comedy special, and Toronto's Second City Improv Company.

In 1997 Gary appeared in the first episode of Stargate: SG1 and continued to grace our screens with his role throughout the series, even making appearances in not only the spin off movies, but also both spinoff series, Stargate: Atlantis and SGU: Stargate Universe.
